Animal Ownership: Hildale City's Dedication to Community Safety

We love our pets in Hildale! But we also are committed to responsible animal care and the safety of our residents as walk through our neighborhoods hopefully without being harassed or attacked by unrestrained dogs and other animals. So in response to significant community concern, Hildale is taking proactive steps to incentivizing good animal ownership. Therefore, the Hildale City Council has approved an increase to fines and fees for certain animal offenses. This means Hildale will seek higher penalties for violating Hildale's animal ordinances.

- Increased fines for first time animal offenses, especially those that threaten the safety of people and other animals

- Stepped approached that will increase fines on the second offense

- Third offense will cause Hildale to seek the highest penalty allowed by law, which in many cases is a $750 fine

Contact the Marshal's office or dial 911 if you suspect an animal violation is occurring.
